NYIB

New York Institute of Beauty Students get exciting hands on experience working for New York Fashion Week Shows.  NYIB students were dispatched to backstage of major fashion shows last week for Fashion Week.  The students worked on 25 models for the Carrie Hammer show, which featured role models, not models.  The designer included female business owners, philanthropists and inspiring women in her runway show.  Hammer also featured the first ever model in a wheel chair Doctor of Psychiatry Danielle Sheypuk.

NYIB then worked on Designer India Vazquez’s debut show.  The team made 20 models and special guests runway ready.  New York Institute of Beauty sets itself apart from other Beauty Schools in that the school gets involved in charitable works by donating time and services to many events as well as working on many exclusive projects such as New York Fashion Week, fashion photo shoots and film sets.

In 2011 New York Institute of Beauty created a make-up team for their students and graduates to help aspiring make-up artists get experience and network in the beauty industry. With over 100 artists, the nyib make up team has participated in events such as New York City Fashion Week, movie screenings for One Direction and music videos for Robbie Starbuck Media and the Knot Bridal Source Event. In 2013 they also assisted in raising over $250,000 by volunteering their make-up expertise to work with many prestigious charities such as, the Audi Sandy Relief Fashion Show, Toys of Hope Charity and The Beauty Gala Fundraiser for Autism.
