February 13, 2015, get ready for a party like no other. Actor Edvin Ortega and choreographer John Wagner will bring their latest production to New York City as Larger Than Life presents “The Ultimate Boyband Tribute”

Jan. 11, 2015 – NEW YORK — The show is an energetic interactive concert/musical production with costumes, dancing, and lots of surprises featuring hits from The Temptations, The Four Season, The Beatles, Jackson 5, New Kids On The block, Backstreet Boys, Nsync and many more!

The Ultimate Boyband Tribute is the brain child of Edvin Ortega and John Wagner who together run the production company Larger Than Life and the live band which goes by the same name.

Sharing a love for pop music and choreographed dancing, Edvin and John set out to start the Ultimate BoyBand Tribute show, bringing back the hits of the greatest groups of all time. The show will be a special night and will feature singers Devin Peacock and Chris Jehnert. The band will also feature legendary musician Robert Porembski “Bobby Guitar ”  and special performance by pop princess Carrie Lane.

The company provides entertainment for private events, resorts, theme parks, night clubs, casinos and charity events.

Summer Stage Kids Present Larger Than Life And MC Vin

Aug 6, 2014 – New York, NY – Edvin Ortega, John Esjae and Kevin, set out to start the ultimate boy band tribute show. This Free Event takes places at the Alfred E. Smith Playground. Larger Than Life will be throwing back the hits from the Backstreet Boys, New Kids On The Block, Nsync, and 98 Degrees! Bring all of your family and friends for a morning of fun entertainment. Meet Edvin Ortega/ MC Vin
Ortega was born in Havana, Cuba, where he spent his early childhood years before his family moved to Panama City, Panama. A few years later, his family packed up again and headed for America, settling in Yonkers, NY, where he would spend his formative years and eventually graduate from Westchester Community College and Mercy College. An accomplished host, DJ, singer and dancer, Ortega regularly hosts live events for Radio Disney and is know is those circles as “MC Vin”.
